MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN -- Dubbed as the “largest outdoor patio in Milwaukee”, The Horny Goat Brewpub is located in the Walker’s Point south-side Milwaukee neighborhood. Architectural elements include an expansive three season covered outdoor bar with surrounding patio, four volleyball courts, large gas fire pits, a music stage, restrooms, and a boardwalk with boat slips that line the Kinnickinnic River. The project also included a complete renovation of the existing restaurant’s kitchen. Each element of the design was carefully considered to reflect the neighborhood’s industrial surroundings, as well as tie into the site’s rich nautical history.
The Horny Goat Hideaway has since become a major destination on Milwaukee’s social map. The architecture has complimented both the identity of the brewery and the city of Milwaukee. Through the use of industrial materials such as steel cable railings, concrete countertops, exposed wood beams, and aluminum garage doors, the renovation and expansion of this well-known Milwaukee Brewpub has attracted a wide clientele.
